What We’re Growing In 2021

Do you have your garden planned out yet for next year?

I know, I know. It’s only December. There’s snow on the ground and we’re barely into winter yet.

But it’s this time of year when I start getting the itch to work the soil. You know what I mean? When the days are short, the sky is overcast and the air is wickedly cold…my mind can’t help but to escape to the garden and all the things I want to do next spring.

I know I’m not the only one. Your mind has gone there too, at least once.

Truth be told, we’ve already got our vegetable seeds ordered. It’s the earliest we’ve ordered seeds, but after 2020 I’m betting there will be more people planting gardens next year, which means we’ll likely see seeds sell out earlier than normal. So take heed.

We get the majority of our seeds from Johnny’s, and I’m always pleased with their germination. There really is a difference in seed quality between vendors, so be careful where you buy your seed and don’t be afraid to pay a little bit more for quality.
